Chamber Choices is a 6 week rolling programme aimed at 16-19 year olds not in education or work.
Primary objective of this programme is aimed at improving the employment prospects of young people in North Ayrshire.
The programme will focus on providing comprehensive support to young people aged 16-19 years through training, mentorship, and job placement assistance, with a particular emphasis on building skills that align with the needs of the local labour market and industry exposure alongside emotional and career development support.
Week 1- Meet the Advisor/CV
Week 2- 5 x Workshops
Week 3- Employer Site visits/Mock Interviews
Week 4/5- Work Placements
Week 6- Mock Interviews/Next Steps
The programme will enable young people to either progress into further training or employment opportunities.
Referrals should be for young people between 16-19 who are at Stage 3 or 4 of the pipeline and be willing to commit to a programme.
The first programme will commence on 30th June 2025 and will run for 6 weeks. Deadline for referrals Monday 2nd June 2025.
