Stride 2 work is an 8 week programme for young people who feel ready to enter the labour market but need some help with confidence, interview skills and CV boosting. The first 4 weeks of the course are spent in the centre looking at jobs, making applications, completing interview practice and getting ready for the workplace. Young people will then complete a 4 week work placement in a sector of their choice. We hope that this results in employment but if not you will have excellent experience for your CV and we will support you to find your ideal role.
Eligible Groups:Not in Full Time Education, In Receipt of Benefit, Disabled Person, Lone Parent, Homeless / At Risk of Homelessness, Care Experienced, Ex-Offender, LGBT+, BME Groups, Substance Misuse, Health Conditions, Long Term Unemployment
