Wigtownshire and Stewartry Partnership (WASP) is a SCIO (SC051090)
WASP was registered with OSCR in 2023. It came about from the amalgamation of an existing charity Wigtownshire Stuff and an organisation called Stewartry Action Support.
WASP is a grassroots/community-based organisation dedicated to developing real opportunities for and with adults with additional support needs (ASNs) across Wigtownshire and the Stewartry.
WASP’s core ethos is that these opportunities are developed by and with the ASNs so as they have ownership of them.
WASP is about what all people can do, their skills, their assets, and their interests; and with the right support from their families, their community, and others, what they can achieve.
WASP is overseen by an active Board.
