This exciting brand-new six-week, part-time programme is being delivered entirely online in conjunction with College Development Network to help give you the flexibility to study around your other commitments.

This course will introduce you to a career in social care, which will lead to a rewarding career path with many employment opportunities throughout Dumfries and Galloway, as well as filling a current skills gap.
If you enjoy working with people, are compassionate and want to help others live their life to the fullest, then this may be the right course for you to kickstart a new career.

The course is supported by an online tutor who will check your progress throughout and offer support. You will learn what to expect from a career in social care and understand the varied career or further study possibilities available to you as a result of taking this course.

This fully funded open learning course is FREE to all Scottish residents.
