Barnardo’s will offer support young people across Aberdeenshire to progress towards their employability goals.
Key Features of our offer:
Young people will be supported by a key worker in their local area
Deliver a suite of programmes/activities that will include SQA qualifications
Young people will have access to local work experience opportunities in their local area
Young people will be able to join our service at the stage that is appropriate for them
Promoting positive health and wellbeing will integrated within all stages of the pipeline
In our model each young person will be assigned a Project Worker who will provide support throughout all stages of the pipeline. . We aim to build their confidence, self-esteem, and resilience to effectively transition between and across pipeline stages and maintain momentum into employment and career progression.
Qualification Gained:Personal Development Award, Steps To Work or Employability Award
Course Length:Around 12 Weeks but can be extended if required.

Eligible Groups:Not in Full Time Education, In Receipt of Benefit, Disabled Person, Homeless / At Risk of Homelessness, Care Experienced, Refugee, Ex-Offender, LGBT+, BME Groups, Health Conditions
Attendance Pattern:Initially one-to-one but will increase during Work experience and Training Phase
