Are you aged between 18-30? Do you have a business idea you would like to explore and at the same time looking into self-employment?

The Enterprise Programme can help you develop your ideas and support you to gain the key information you need to bring your ideas to reality, alongside providing you with the tools to achieve this with confidence.

This programme will run for 8 weeks with business support available for up to 2 years.

  • 1-2-1 Support with a Youth Development Lead
  • 8 Enterprise Training Sessions
  • Business Grants and Loan opportunities
  • Networking opportunities
  • Next step training
  • A Business Mentor (for up to 2 years)

The 8 Enterprise training sessions will cover the following subjects:

  • The Basics of Self-Employment
  • HMRC & Finance
  • Pricing & Sales
  • Marketing
  • Networking
  • Cashflows
  • Writing a Business Plan
  • Let’s Start Trading

Employability programmes work a little differently from other courses, especially when it comes to eligibility. For example, someone from Glasgow wouldn't be eligible for a programme taking place in North Ayrshire, and vice versa.
