GAT (Galloway Action Team) is a Stranraer based registered charity with an employability programme which support unemployed people across Wigtownshire who experience barriers to move closer to work, achieving sustainable outcomes and transformational change.
We provide employment, training and volunteer opportunities for people aged 14 years and over who are experiencing social exclusion of any kind. Our core work involves repairs, maintenance, and construction projects as well as house clearances and garden projects. Due to our reputation, we have a fantastic relationship with local employers who now ask us to supply them with full and/or part-time employees.
