Head 2 Work is an 8 week programme for young people aged 15.5 to 24 who are looking for help to take the first step into work and training. You will gain new skills, build your confidence, try new activities and make new friends. The course has 3 strands- physical fitness, mental health and financial fitness- with the aim of preparing you to for work, training or education. Qualifications can include first aid and we also offer a money management qualification. Activities include bowling, outdoor fun, gardening and escape room. You’ll also receive support to look at different careers, apply for work or training and create a CV.
Eligible Groups:Still in Education, Not in Full Time Education, In Receipt of Benefit, Disabled Person, Lone Parent, Homeless / At Risk of Homelessness, Care Experienced, Refugee, Ex-Offender, LGBT+, BME Groups, Substance Misuse, Health Conditions, Long Term Unemployment
