A 6 week vocational programme with hands-on learning, SQA qualifications and incredible experiences.
Delivered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:30am – 2:30pm for 6 weeks in Helm’s in-house beauty salon the Lavish Lounge. Young people will be supported by trained professionals to deliver a variety of different beauty and cosmetology treatments including Lashes, Brows, Manicures, Facials, Waxing and more.
Over the 6 weeks every young person will be supported to try the different treatments and become proficient at them. They will be supported to complete a Level 4 NPA in Cosmetology including Beauty Practical Skills, Health & Safety, Prepare & Assist in a Work Place Environment, Working with Customers & Colleagues and Career Options & Choices. There will also be plenty of opportunities for the young people to interact with customers and clients.
