SAMH’s Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Services support people with mental health problems to gain employment. A SAMH Employment Specialist will help you to identify what you want to do and support you to find a job that suits you, based on your individual needs and circumstances.
Getting started: Your Employment Specialist will work with you to identify what kind of job would suit you and what skills and experience you have to offer an employer.
Getting a Job: There is a wide range of different ways SAMH can help you get a job including: Creating your CV, job searching, job applications, contacting employers, improving your interview skills.
In-work Support: Once you have been offered a job your SAMH Employment Specialist will continue regular contact to help you start and maintain employment.
