Positive Steps with Partners is a voluntary project designed to help people gain new skills and experiences through Personal Development courses and Volunteering placements.  Whether you are looking to build up confidence, find out what’s available in your local community, build up your employability skills or try something new then we will have something for you.

All we ask is that you are registered unemployed in North Ayrshire.

We offer a very person centered approach and always aim to work at your own pace to help you achieve your goals.

Some of our activities include:

  • STEPS To Excellence Course
  • Skills and Strengths Workshop
  • Cooking on a Budget zoom sessions
  • One to One Coaching sessions
  • Job Searching sessions
  • Health Walks
  • Volunteering Placements – Eglinton Community Garden & Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Our project works with various employability partners across North Ayrshire to help widen the options and opportunities available to all who participate on the project.

Here's something you should know

Info Box

Employability programmes work a little differently from other courses, especially when it comes to eligibility. For example, someone from Glasgow wouldn't be eligible for a programme taking place in North Ayrshire, and vice versa. Check the Postcode Eligibility tab in the Things to Know section to make sure this programme is open to you.
