The combination of these courses will greatly enhance your employability SCPLH This qualification is for those involved in the sale of alcohol in both on-sales and off-sales environments and has been designed to comply with current alcohol legislation in Scotland. The key areas are: Introduction to licensing Responsible operation of licensed premises The effect of alcohol consumption on customers and your business All learners will receive a handbook as pre course study material and the course will be delivered through a Highfield approved e-learning package. The qualification is assessed by a 40 question multiple choice examination. Emergency First Aid at Work You will learn how to provide effective and efficient First Aid in an emergency situation. All learners will have the skills and knowledge required as an Emergency First Aider to enable them to provide safe, prompt, and effective treatment. On the successful completion of the you will achieve a nationally recognised qualification, valid for 3 years. The course consists of 6 hours of practical and theoretical learning in the classroom, including: • The role of the First Aider • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • Use of a Defibrillator • Examination of Casualty • Recovery Position • Choking • Bleeding • Shock You will learn how to manage an incident from start to the hand over to the professionals.
