Hi, I am Morven and I work for Volunteering Matters (VM). We are a charity that works across the UK, we have a focus on volunteering and a passion for supporting individuals and communities to lead impactful and sustainable social change to enhance their lives and local areas.
In 2021 VM merged with ProjectScotland, strengthening the role both organisations have in using volunteering to transform lives. We work across Dumfries and Galloway to support people (predominantly young people) to: overcome barriers that are making it difficult to work towards and achieve their goals; matched to a supported and flexible volunteering placement based around needs, interests and aspirations and matched to a local volunteer mentor for support for up to one year.
