About North Ayrshire Council Supported Employment Service
Equal is the supported employment service set up within NAC. We work with people with disabilities finding them long term jobs and supporting both them and their employers.
You must be aged 16 or over with a disability or long-term health condition that is preventing you finding a job.
You must be resident in North Ayrshire, and you need to believe that work could be a real option for your future.
As soon as we receive your referral an employment advisor will call you within 7 days to have a first chat, we’ll provide you with the support you need in your search for a job – and when you find one, we’ll be on hand to continue that support for as long as your employer needs.
Boost your confidence and enhance your communication skills by attending one of our activities which include:
Creative Writing; Chess Club; Roll the dice; Craft Group; TOP TABLE -Dungeons and Dragons; Film Club and Garden group.

If you’re an employer our engagement team will spend time with you and your staff and provide you with a robust free recruitment service that will enhance your teams with talented staff that really fit in.
