Remploy currently delivers the Fair Start Scotland program. This is for anyone living in Scotland who is currently unemployed and not in full time education (full time is anything over 12hrs a week), and who has a barrier to employment.
We have 12 to 18 months to help people build confidence, get further skills and training and offer the support required to find the right job for them. We have multiple employers with multiple vacancies available that we work very closely with to secure sustainable jobs for our participants. Once in work, we support for the first 12 months in employment. This helps people to sustain their job and work through any further barriers that may arise. We have offices in Dundee, Arbroath (Friockheim) and Perth but can meet participants in their local areas as well within many of our outreach locations.
We support every step of the way to ensure our participants feel comfortable and safe when working with us. Our main aim is to ensure our participants can access everything they need to progress in to fully sustainable employment.
