This course is open to all adults living in East Renfrewshire who would like to brush up on some skills that will help them to get back to work. Classes will be non-formal and the content of the course will be designed to suit individual learners’ needs. During this course you will have a chance to:
-set your own work-related and learning-related goals,
-brush up and build on your core skills (communication skills, numeracy, working with others, IT, problem solving),
-practice searching for job adverts,
-practice filling out job applications,
-learn about different interview types and questions,
-practice and build on interview skills,
-identify your existing skills and build on your strengths,
Eligible Groups:Not in Full Time Education, In Receipt of Benefit, Disabled Person, Lone Parent, Homeless / At Risk of Homelessness, Care Experienced, Refugee, Ex-Offender, LGBT+, BME Groups, Substance Misuse, Health Conditions, Long Term Unemployment, Redundant/Facing Redundancy
