The Rural Academy is based at 2 Hope Street, Lanark ML11 7LZ and offers a bespoke employability programme to unemployed residents in the Rural South Lanarkshire, Clydesdale area. The range of support starts with an in-depth initial assessment of needs, employability and personal development programme including motivation. Employability workshops include updating and creating CVs, interview techniques, assistance with online application forms we are available across different locations in rural South Lanarkshire including Lanark, Coalburn One Stop Shop and Loanhead Farm. We also offer short industry specific courses (ie CSCS Labourer’s Card) and more in-depth vocational programmes such as our Award Winning – Education Support Assistant Course, NPA Admin & Numeracy, Introduction to Policing, Accounts, and Childcare.
