STRIVE is a 3 week employability course covering 22 core exercises which empowers participants to complete tasks by themselves, continually identifying their own skills and competencies whilst encouraging them to take ownership for their own actions. Addressing barriers such as lack of confidence, low self esteem and motivation. Enhancing transferrable skills, team work, problem solving, negotiation, communication, working to deadlines, creativity, presentation and leadership. We will also cover CVs, interview techniques and mock interviews. We simulate a work environment with the emphasis being placed on demonstrating the appropriate behaviours and attitudes not only to secure but to sustain employment.
First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates are included in this course
