The HIVE focuses on preparing young people (up to the age of 24) for life, learning and work. Our courses are designed to help you develop your confidence, social skills and independence, in a place where you will feel comfortable and supported.
The HIVE is a starting point for a young person to find their route into the future they want, whether that is employment, a Modern Apprenticeship, college and/or university. The courses offer young people the opportunity to gain essential skills valued by employers. Some students seek employment after their time at The HIVE. Others move into curriculum areas at the College and progress from Level 5 to Level 8 (HND) courses. Some students have progressed through a range of further and higher education, and achieve university qualifications.
